Biff: “We caught it – now what?”
Cliff: “Go ask the Evil One – she’ll know.”

Biff keeps watch from the upstairs bay window. He can see everything that happens out front. He especially keeps an eye out for Mr. Angry Kitty Street Cat who sometimes invades Biff’s yard!

Biff may be a big cat, and in the back yard he imagines himself a mighty hunter (mostly in an attempt to impress Neighbor Kitty, whom he adores), but he’s not above begging for a good tummy rub.

Cliff: “If I stay here, she can’t come in because our humans don’t like us to fight.”
Neighbor: “I’m coming in. They’re not going to leave me outside when it’s cold.”
Human: “Dogs. We should have gone with dogs.”

For Christmas, Santa brought presents for Clifford G., Biff and Neighbor: Bags made out of catnip! The boys liked them very much! Neighbor had to stay in the garage until Cliff’s turn was over so they wouldn’t fight.

The humans bought a new litter box for the cats. Biff and Cliff don’t really like it (and Neighbor Kitty, being a rugged outdoors cat, takes care of her needs in the yard), but Cliff really likes the box it came in!

Neighbor Kitty knows that she and Clifford aren’t allowed in the same room because they fight. So New Year’s morning, she refuses to give up her spot on Mommy’s legs on the couch because as long as she is in the living room, Clifford has to stay in Mommy’s bedroom. “Would you like to go outside, Neighbor?” No, thank you.

This is Stormy. He was rescued from a ranch after his mother abandoned him. He was already very sick before he came to live with Clifford and the other cats, but his humans did not know that until they took him to the veterinarian. Stormy was very cute and curious, and he and Clifford got along fine. Even though he is very much bigger, Biff was afraid of Stormy! All the humans miss Stormy very much.

This is Neighbor Kitty, playing on the stairs. Neighbor lived in their house before the humans did! They did not know that Neighbor was their cat when they bought the house – every day when they saw her in the back yard, they’d tell their youngest child, “Look, there’s the neighbor kitty!” Then one day the neighbors told them that this cat came with the house – but by then, she was already named Neighbor. Biff thinks she is the most wonderful creature in the whole world. Cliff hates her and wishes she would go outside and never come back.

Biff is the biggest cat Cliff has ever met. Biff weighs more than 20 pounds, according to the veterinarian – but she said he’s not fat. He’s just big. Biff’s favorite activities are eating snacks, sleeping in the sun, and pining after Neighbor Cat.
