Screen time

The humans watch a boring box with flashing lights that makes loud sounds. But you can’t smell anything on it! This is a much better show – we can watch it all day!

Biff the beloved

A few weeks after Barbie and Sassy joined the family, Biff woke up not feeling well. Mommy took him to the vet, and the vet said Biff was very sick. All the human family came to say goodbye to Biff and tell him how much they loved him. Even though it’s been a couple weeks since Biff went home to Buddy and Stormy, sometimes Mommy or Daddy will look over to Biff’s favorite spot on the couch and have to wipe away a tear.

Learning to adapt

Biff was not happy when Cliffy joined the family, and he never got used to Stormy. So when Barbie and Sassy came to live at the house, Biff mostly hid upstairs. Still, food is food, even if you have to share the dining room.

And then this happened …

About 10 months after saying goodbye to Cliffy, the humans thought that maybe Biff and Neighbor could use some more kitty company. Plus it was free adoption weekend at the shelter. And so Barbie and Sassy joined the family. They are very cute.

Clifford G.

Cliffy could sleep anywhere. He was such a silly kitty that he had lots of nicknames. The younger humans and Mommy often called him “Snoot.” When the humans first adopted Clifford, and took him to the vet for his checkup, the nurse asked what was Clifford’s full name. Daddy can be just as silly as Cliffy, and so he answered “Clifford G.” The nurse asked what the “G” stood for, and Daddy thought of a hippo and answered “Garonomus.” That is how this whole project got its silly name.

Even though Cliffy is gone, the site will still keep his name.

Serene Cliff

Cliffy sometimes could be very calm, and project an air of wisdom. This is one of the the last pictures the humans took of Cliffy. Just about a year ago, Cliffy wasn’t feeling well and Mommy took him to the vet. The vet took x-rays of Cliffy – and then had very sad news. Mommy and Daddy rushed back to the vet to say goodbye to Cliff. All the humans still miss him very much.
